Before building this clinic, Dr. William Edwards practiced for 17 years at the Rockford Clinic. He received his medical degree from the University of Iowa and completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Wisconsin/Marshfield Clinics. Hematology and Oncology fellowship activities were completed at the University of Iowa and the American Cancer Society.

Dr. Edwards is chairman of the cancer committee at Rockford Memorial Hospital, a primary investigator on several oncology protocols and visits all three local hospitals. In his spare time, he is active in his church, enjoys range and target shooting, and is devoted to his wife and four children. Dr. Edwards resides in Rockford with his family.
